Toyota will charge on Tesla Supercharger

Toyota has announced that its future electric vehicles (including Lexus cars) will be switched to NACS (Tesla North American Charging Standard) charging connectors.

The company added that the NACS connector will appear in some Toyota electric vehicles starting in 2025, and the company’s current electric vehicles with CSS connectors will become compatible with the Tesla Supercharger using a special adapter in the same 2025.

Toyota is far from the only one who transfers their cars to the NACS connector. A week ago, BMW announced the same thing, but in general, General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia and a number of other companies have already announced the transition to NACS.
